Stefano Pirrone lives and works in Florence. He spent a decade working in the field of architectural research and experimentation of techniques aimed at recovery and consolidation of stone. In 1992 he became interested in interior design that will lead him to face several challenges, including public and private spaces, with particular attention to design furniture and objects. He met craftsmen using techniques that went back to the tradition of cabinet and wrought iron, revisited in a modern way.
In 1996 he got in touch with the watch industry, mainly for design, project engineering and mechanical design of the watch-cases. He founded in 1998 the Firm Archiforma.
Since 1998 he has been a member of the ADI-Industrial-Design Association;
From 2002 to 2005 he was Lecturer of Design at the watches' IED - Istituto Europeo di Design- in Milan;
From 2006 to 2010 he was Advisor and Secretary and founding member of the Delegation of ADI Tuscany;
From 2010 to 2014 he was Chairman of the Delegation of ADI Tuscany;
From 2014 to 2017 he was a Executive board member of the ADI-Industrial-Design Association.
